About Us

Information about the owners, Dick and Lori Crosby.

We have owned this beautiful patch of land since 1990. Before that, it was a history-rich supper club known as “Roberts” since the 1930’s. We thought it was the perfect place to run our own restaurant and bought it, renaming it “ Crosby’s on the Chippewa.”

We continued this business until our two children, Nicole and Dylan, started high school. In 2007 we got the idea of converting the land into a riverside campground in order to allow others to enjoy the fun and beauty of the area. We started off with 30 sites, but it has since grown to 44, just the right size to provide a casual and family-friendly atmosphere.

Dick has been in the restaurant industry since 1980. Lori has been self-employed since 1983. Our first priority is providing a family-friendly environment that people want to return to yearly.
